About Barnick Home Interiors

Nick Barnick and Kris Outland founded Barnick Home Interiors in 2007. Nick and Kris purchased the company from Nick’s parents, David and Deborah Barnick who at the time were retiring from their longtime business, Barnick Window Coverings. David and Deborah founded Barnick Window Coverings in 1982 in their living room. In 1986, David and Deborah opened their storefront in the Village Creek Plaza of downtown Arroyo Grande. Barnick Window Coverings provided quality window furnishing becoming a prominent Hunter Douglas window fashion dealer. After 25 years of successful business David & Deborah decided to retire.

Nick and Kris purchased the business and expanded into Barnick Home Interiors, offering flooring, cabinetry, counter tops and of course window coverings. Nick and Kris brought a lot to the table; Nick had four years custom cabinetry experience and multiple years assisting his parents with window covering installations, and Kris had twelve years of flooring experience. Together, Nick and Kris brought an all-in-one home interior design center to the Village of Arroyo Grande and coastal communities.
